Youth Retreat Report: The youth of the missionary Families of Christ successfully conducted a dynamic and spiritually enriching youth retreat on the 6th of April at Mary’s church, Hegde Nagar. The Event witnessed the enthusiastic participation of over seventy-five youth of our parish, all eager to deepen their faith and build lasting friendships. The event brought together many enthusiastic young people for a day of deep spiritual renewal and joyful fellowship.
The day began with a warm welcome and opening prayer, followed by impactful sessions on relevant topics such as living out one’s faith in today’s world, internet and parental relationship, the importance of prayer, and discovering God’s purpose in one’s life. Energetic praise and worship sessions lifted the spirits of the youth, drawing them closer to Christ.
The retreat concluded with Eucharistic adoration and a heartfelt commitment prayer, where many youths experienced personal renewal and a deeper connection with God. The organizing team expressed their heartfelt thanks to the parish priest volunteers and all who supported this mission. Fr. Boniface D’Souza OCD thanked all the youth of the MFC for successfully conducting the retreat and inspiring our parish youth.
The retreat not only created unforgettable memories but also ignited a fresh fire of faith in the hearts of the young participants.
