St. Mary’s church, Hegde Nagar celebrated Teacher’s Day with a special mass honoring the teachers on the 29th Sept. 2024. The catechism children and youth of the parish organized a vibrant cultural program expressing their gratitude through performances of songs, skits, and dances. Each teacher was given a gift pack as a token of love and appreciation. Fr. Boniface D Souza OCD, the parish priest appreciated their dedicated service for teaching catechism to children, Teachers are role models, they shape not only academic futures but the moral and spiritual lives of our children. St Mary’s church is grateful for their tireless efforts and pray they continue to inspire and guide our children. More than a hundred children were present for the event. The cultural program was compared by Kiran Raphael and Leo.
A heartfelt vote of thanks from Mrs. Joyce Sundar, acknowledging the efforts of all those involved in organizing the event. The program ended with the distribution of snacks and eatables for all the students.
