The celebration of confirmation at St. Mary’s church in Hegde Nagar was officiated by Archbishop Peter Machado on the 18th of April 2022. Meaningful liturgy was conducted by  the children of our parish. The Archbishop had anointed each candidate with the holy oil of chrism making the sign of the cross on their forehead while saying “Be sealed with the gift of the Holy Spirit. As many as twenty-eight children were confirmed on the day. It was a joyful occasion for our parish. At the end of the liturgy, the parish priest Fr. Boniface D’ Souza OCD thanked the Archbishop for confirming the children of our parish.
