St. Mary’s Church, Hegdenagar joyfully celebrated its much-awaited Christmas Gala with a beautiful and soul-stirring musical carols night that filled the hearts of all present with the true spirit of Christmas. The evening was truly magical, marked by joyful melodies, prayerful moments, and a deep sense of togetherness that reflected the joy of the season.
The program commenced at 7:15 pm, as the church premises came alive with the resounding voices of our choir members. A harmonious blend of young and senior singers, accompanied by talented and dedicated musicians, created an atmosphere of devotion and celebration. Through melodious carols and meaningful hymns, they came together to glorify the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Each rendition touched hearts and inspired the congregation to reflect on the message of hope, peace, and love that Christmas brings.
The enthusiastic presence and active participation of numerous parishioners added warmth and vibrancy to the evening. Families, elders, youth, and children gathered in unity, making the celebration truly inclusive and joyful. Our Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Boniface D Souza OCD, warmly welcomed the gathering and expressed his heartfelt appreciation to all the singers, musicians, and organizers for their dedication, commitment, and tireless efforts in making the Christmas Gala meaningful and memorable. He highlighted how such celebrations strengthen faith and foster unity within the parish community. At the conclusion of the program, Fr. Boniface once again conveyed his sincere gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of the Christmas Gala and extended his Christmas wishes to all parishioners, praying that the blessings of the Infant Jesus may fill every home with peace, good health, and happiness.
The program was gracefully and engagingly compered by Mr. Roger, whose smooth coordination ensured the event flowed seamlessly and kept the audience warmly connected throughout the evening.
