Mission Sunday was celebrated with great enthusiasm and deep missionary spirit at St. Mary’s church, Hegde Nagar, on the 16th of November 2025. The entire parish community came together in large numbers to participate in this joyful and meaningful celebration.
After each mass in the morning, the faithful eagerly supported the mission cause by purchasing coupons and enjoying a wide variety of homemade food prepared by different families and parish associations. The church campus was filled with vibrant fellowship as people interacted with the missions.
The highlight of the day was a delicious homemade Pork Curry & Sannas, mouth-watering breakfast items, Cakes, and Sandwiches. Parishioners also took part in the entertaining games arranged by St. Mary’s Church youth Hegdenagar and various parish associations, adding color and excitement to the day.
The spirit of togetherness continued through the evening. After the 6:00 PM Holy Mass, a lively game of “Housie” was organized, which drew an overwhelming response from parishioners of all ages. The joyous participation throughout the day highlighted the unity, generosity, and missionary zeal of the community. The visitors enjoyed the food and fellowship while supporting the noble cause.
Mission Sunday at St. Mary’s church was truly a memorable celebration, strengthening the bonds of fellowship and renewing the parish commitment to the missionary work of the church.
