On the night of December 24th, at 10.00pm, the evening began with joyful Christmas carols and a beautiful reenactment of the birth of Jesus in a manger, performed by our parish children.
The choir led the congregation in singing melodious hymns that celebrated the birth of our Saviour, Jesus Christ. The carols filled the church with festive cheer and heartfelt devotion, preparing everyone for the Holy Eucharist. Our parish priest joined in the carols, playing a guitar, which added to the joy and enriched the overall experience, thus encouraging the parish to participate wholeheartedly.
Fr. Sylvester D’Souza, the Provincial of Karnataka and Goa, celebrated the solemn Christmas Vigil Mass. In his homily, he reflected on the profound mystery of the Incarnation, emphasizing the message of love, hope, and peace that Christ’s birth brings to the world.
